1985 Mario Lemieux Rookie Card - Topps Box Bottom (#1). There is little known about these particular Mario Lemieux rookie cards that were printed on Box Bottoms over 35 years ago.

PSA Population reports confirm that this is a rare find. There have been over 3,500 Lemieux main RCs submitted to PSA of each OPC & TOPPs. In comparison, there have only been less than 75 of this Mario Lemieux rookie card - the highest grading a PSA 9. We own two (2) of these cards. Both have a slight crease or lined indentation near the top right corner (back side) - exact same spot, which seems to be part of the box these cards were printed on.

Because it is a box bottom, it also has some slight surface scratches - other than that, a beautiful card with nice edges & sharp corners. Please check out our other listings!!
